Motor issues
« on: 24, April, 2011 - 20:08:46 »
Hi all got my 2nd C5 working but the motor has very little power & torque.

I am looking at stripping down the motor but remember seeing a staged strip-down but cannot find the link. Any help please as I don't have the metal bars to prise open the gearbox like Chas has and some use of other items used.

thanks

Lance

The unofficial owners manual (in the download section and also accessed via the forum guide) has a detailed description of how to dismantle the motor, plus there are a couple of topics on here;
