Bytheway, does anybody have a good tip to really clean the body. I have seen some great, super-clean machine on the forum !

On mine I used the normal - CIF, Stardrops concentrated, oven / BBQ cleaner, and used green cleaning pads & a normal scrubbing hand brush. In some cases were there are scratches - light graded wet & dry 120 - 360 grade.

I found similiar methods are the best, must point out that you might have to clean it about 4 times before its as clean as you can get it.

Cif ,plastic schuursponsje, hoop werk, en afvegen met een schone, ietwat vochtige doek. Theedoek of zo. Alleen de diepe krassen gaan er niet mee weg. Maar die vallen wel minder op dan. Weer als nieuw.

or

Cif, plastic scourer, lot of work, and then wipe with a soft slightly wet towel. this doesn't remove the deep scratches but at least they don't show so much.
As new again.

And if it is really to much work because it is in to bad shape, i do have a body left over, never used, just stood outside a few months, better mail me about that.
I live about 28 km from your place.
you need a crankshaft poulliepuller though.

Just a short update of the project;

Last week I got the new rear wheels from Rolko. They look almost the same as the originals. I'm now 3D-modelling to find a good solution for fitting them onto the motor-flanges. Also ordered a new Shimano disc brake kit for the front wheel.

Yesterday I attached the new wiring to the frame. It all looks promising already.

Yes BooBoo, it is a standard bike pulley puller, GBP 5,- at the store.

Today, I made my first test run. It's not quite finished yet, but everything is working just fine. Now I have to think of a nice way to make the dashboard and fit the indicator lights.
