We've managed a second run to Rotterdam to collect the remainder of those c5's  ;D.

Here's the link to the topic showing what we collected first time round;

I have to say a big thankyou to Simon for being so patient in waiting for us to get to Rotterdam, especially after that Belgian incident and the episode with the rented lorry ...

He is one of the nicest guys you could meet and I hope we keep in contact and get together again for a c5 event in the near future.

This "job lot" should keep all our c5's going for quite a while  :)

Wow, would I be right in thinking then that perhaps there may be some C5's for sale in the C5Alive on-line shop?

The short answer is yes, but first I need to do a "stock check" and see what I have. The plan is to fully restore some,  maybe sell a couple of others "as is" and also offer some parts up for sale as well. As much as I'd like to keep them all myself ,apart from being plain greedy  :o, storage is a problem and I do need to top up the coffers as well  :)

If you have a spare boot out of that lot can I buy it off you?  ;D

Retro Andy

Wow, wow and wow  :) What a nice lot Karl.

Spotted any unusual mods or tinkering on them?

Karl

I did notice one has a chain drive instead of a drivebelt , plus a few have some interesting wiring modifications but to be perfectly honest I haven't really taken that close a look at them. Sounds odd I know, but we loaded them onto the trailer really quickly and they're now stashed away "in a secure location"  8)

I really do need to take a good look to work out exactly what I have before I can sell anything off as it would make no sense selling spares that I might need later on  ;)  I should be able to manage selling off a boot and a tool kit though  :) .

I'm now on a run of five 12hr shifts so I'm afraid it will have to wait until my next set of days off....

Can I be cheeky and ask for any spare tools for the tool kit? I have the black tool box but no tools :(

When the time is available it might be worth taking a piccy of all the mad stuff.
