Hi Folks,

In my attempt to make the meeting a success I collected a few Sinclairs for the auction.
As you can see, they almost all have mirrors, horn kits, vis-masts, mud flaps, sinclair charger and seat cushions or booster pad. I put them all on new tires, serviced them all. A few have side panels plus tonneau.
So they ride like new, no rust problems, no nasty hidden defects. And of-course a lot of extra spare parts, three perfect frames, one complete body, control boxes, pods, wheels, tyres, repair kits, service books, cable trees, etc. etc. etc.
Sure, I keep two of them for myself but the rest can go to a new proud owner.
On the auction, i have a minimum price. If it is not reached, they are not sold.
But, since I do this for fun, not for a living, be sure there is no profit made.
So enjoy.

That's an impressive collection  :D
Looks like it's going to be a great auction - wish I could have managed to get myself over there. I'd love to get hold of a set of mirrors for my C5 but the prices here seem to range from crazy to insane  >:(

Hi Chris,

The prices here are a significant lower then in the UK.
All the spares, after Sir Clife went broke, where sold to a dutch buyer, so there is quit a bit to get over here.
Maybe some-one you know goes to Holland in july? I paid ± 35 euro for a pair of mirrors overhere, new, boxed. The first pair I bought in UK for 80 pounds. :o

Well I know a lot of the forum guys are heading over there but I don't know any of them personally (yet  ;D) so getting someone to pick me up a set would would be a lot to ask.

I'll just have to keep looking for now. There's nothing at the moment on ebay.nl.

D - They're out in Holland mate, if getting to Crawley is too far for you I don't think getting to Zutphen will be any easier  ;D

To final out this topic,

The meeting in Zutphen in july this year was a great succes, but to be honest, the auction wasn't.
I only sold some engine parts, some tires, brakes, two pair of mirrors, some frontwheel covers. Some side panels and some cables, steers, a trunk, some high vis masts. The small stuff.
All of these beauty's are still "to get" and as you can see, I like them as complete as I can but don't forget. I am in Holland.
Stupid of me, ;) I didn't think that all the foreigners that came over for the meeting, already where packed and their cars, filled up to the roof with their own C5's.

But then, I am a fast learner ;D
