It was unfortunately but I must say I got nearly what I paid for it in insurance so not the worst result.

Bought a RX8 which I'm having trouble getting sold now.

Wish I had a bit more cash and a garage as I would love that Morgan!

a Morgan will probably need rebuilding every decade-the Mazda RX8 is a better car altogether!(won the US autosolo nationals outright a couple of years ago-not bad for a 4 door saloon)

It seems like a lot of people are finding the RX8 engine needs the same treatment. You can get some very cheap ones now with iffy engines.

This engine produces 300bhp for Formula Mazda and they run a season without teardown. Would think poor maintenance,eg oil change frequency using CORRECT oil, and firewalling cold engines, ie customer abuse, would be contributory factors in unreliability
