Just a thought as you are bench testing - have you both sensor wires for the motor (orange/orange) (grey /Violet) connected in the control box ?

As Marty says, it wont be much, dought it will be a problem with the POD as all seems to working in the display area.

We have all been there with our first C5 and getting it running, lots of experience on here and all a very friendly bunch.

Getting it running is all part of the C5 exerience ...

Hi

all conections are in place. if i test with a meter on diode test function i get a beep across the orange annd a reading of 1900 across the thermistor if that means anything?

hi,

Had my control board and pod board all nicley bubble wraped in a jiffy bag ready to post to Marty tomorrow, then i just happened to see an image of a working control box with the thermal cut-out in a different position to where i had it. When i received the C5 it had alot of wires unplugged so I used the wiring diagram to show me where everything goes. The way it looked to me on the diagram is from left to right it should be thermal cut out to the left 2nd battery in the middle and thermistor to the right. So that is the way I have had it. I unwrapped the board and reassembled it (correctly this time). Eureka it works!

Thanks. Would be happy to look but you know what they say "one swollow doesn't make a summer" I've got loads of spare Componants if anyone needs them.
I also tried a couple of alternative componants, so will post them if all goes well in the long term.
