After taking the c5's to the Brooklands Double 12 event on Saturday (15th June) I then went on to the "MG Live" event on Sunday (16th June)

This was my first visit to Silverstone and the MG Live event and I was most impressed, some piccies from the day;

Hello there

I have been going to MG live for many years, it was a good one this year, apart from being a bit cold and a very dodgy Abba tribute act!!

Here are my pics from the weekend:

I have a few more on my Flickr page:

yep, in fact I was quite surprised as to how many people I actually knew there. Apart from Mr & Mrs RadioMarty (and the junior radiomarty's ) I also met Tim Morris from Brooklands Museum & outgoing MGF Register chairman (so no surprise he was there really) , Fuzz from Practical Classics magazine (also recently on Classic Car rescue TV show) who remembered his time on a c5 I loaned him for a photoshoot, plus the guys from MJS who work on my TF and then there was a couple from the recent MGF Highlander Run. Given the size of the show and the number of people there, it was great to bump into familiar faces  :)

Shame I didnt meet up with Simon though , we could have had a c5alive get together in the bar  ;)

Thanks Karl

Maybe next year we should arrange a bit of a sub C5 get together.

Or maybe enter a C5 in the glow car competition!

Even better would be a Russ Swift type display team!!

Hope you enjoyed it and will return next time.
