No POD lights

I've changed the control box (although I don't know the history), changed the POD only wiring, good battery, the motor runs okay, still on original keyswitch, but noticed as it's now getting a bit darker that there are two faint red LED lights on eitherside. Any ideas on the probable cause please?

Sorted! The 'third' control box I tried worked.
