what u think about these..
scrap the old motor and put 2 " or even 3!" hub motors!!
it would be easy to get 50 + mph .. even more if u want!
just take out the old rear wheels and put new ones with hub motors !
put back the plastic cap and no one will not even notice you have them there!

but.. maybe these have been done already ??

interesting. but i dont get why put it in the front??
isnt better put 2 in the rear wheels?
now there are hubmotors with 3 Kw each !
so a tot of 6 kw is duable!
for the batteri pack. i think the best even if time consuming is to use AA and sold them togheter
we could then make "mats " of batteries to put on the floor
these is the same batteries they use for electric drag bike in the US

Just fit two of these, then you can run at 24V and get the power you need. I fitted two to my C5 and the drop in weight made a huge difference over the old Lead Acid one I was using. I have set mine up in Parallel on 12V and it's a huge improvement. I lot less bother than mucking about with AA batteries and solder

what is the top speed you get with them?
ill like to travell at least 30 m/h as a modern moped

I believe the 24v models with the standard motor will do 25 - 30 mph.
