If on closer inspection neither of the c5's appears worthy of restoration , they could both be broken for spares and the buyer would easily get their money back.

Karl, might be worth you pinging him a pm via the ebay vedor, he may not know of this forum and its invaluable source of advice and bits, and you might just find out if his/her intentions towards these C5's are honorable (and if they were worth it  )

No need to mate, Chas (c5enthusiast) has bought them.

Him and Lee (Leeb) tend to buy up the wrecks and restore them , so I've no doubt that is at least one more saved to be put back on the road
