That's a rear wheel hub sprayed silver.  With holes drilled into it, and the centre cap taken out, and something shoved into it.

Yes that's what it is ....But it's just a small part of a complete Restoration that I have started .

I remembered seeing a pic of the sleigh a while ago, and i was actually thinking of buying it last year when it came up for sale, but decided, for my first C5, to go for a normal one 

Are you planning on driving it around once you've restored it or will it be more for displaying at shows etc ?

Hi there Daz no prize but maybe if you want I could send you a light switch
  or maybe a set of back wheel bearings just let me know ....Anyway regarding the sleigh I will be restoring it to it`s former glory .Then showing it ...Take a look at the photo's ...


















As you can see there is quiet a bit of work to do on it but overall it's in good nick ...
I will be putting a new motor/gearbox on it ..
