Yer, you have a 3 pin flasher unit and I have a 2 pin flasher unit

??How do you figure that out??  I can only see a 2 pin unit.

I believe that's connected up to one of the pins on a sort of 'branch' like you can see mounted on the two wires coming off the top switch.

Thats correct the flasher unit is an original  two pin unit .The orange wire is piggy backed on the blue wire just as Luke said ...
