In the future im thiking of replacing my fiat cinquecento for a car that can actualy hold my C5. I dont want to spend too much on it, nor do i want a massive engine (the 39hp 0.9l fiat cinquecento engine is good for the wallet).

Any suggestions.

I like the look of the vand derived cars that are about £10'000 new.

I guess In addition I should ask what do you people use to transport C5's about.

This is similar to a question asked on the old frum.

If I remember correctly,the list of cars aC5 can fit into include ;

An old shape Rover 214 hatchback (with base of rear seat removed)

A Ford Sierra Hachback (with base of rear seat removed)

Fiat Punto (with front passenger seat removed)

A Ford Mondeo estate - holds two complete C5's

A Fiat Marea estate

Some Daewoo estate (cant remember the model name)

Any others ?

Thats compelling evidence.

Whats the price for one of those?

nevermind ill do some research

I payed £600 for the car now on my 3rd MOT. ;D
I have only had to replace tyres.
An excellent feature with the car is the back hinges done
making it very easy single handed to get your C5 in and out.

thought I'd update this topic with piccies of my latest C5 transporter  8)

oh yes, it can carry two C5's with plenty of room for batteries and tools etc. Should save on van hire  ;D

it can also carry one c5 and still have room for 3 people so will come in handy for the meetings.

sorry to see the old sierra sold off, but this estima is a motoring equivalent of
a swiss army knife  8)

Thanks Karl, saves me figuring out the best way to get one in an Estima  ;D

Another one for the list of cars that will carry a c5.

I found out today that a c5 will fit into a Renault Scenic, but you have to remove two of the rear seats and push the front passenger seat forward.

That leaves you the drivers seat, plus one seat behind the driver for a passenger.

Vauxhall Zafira. But snap them up quick! GM looks to be bankrupt  ;)
