Rubber Grommets

What do the rubber grommets do for the High Vis Mast. dose it effect how the Vis mast stands. My C5 dose not have the Grommets they have been lost sometime in the past. It did not have them when I bought it.

As far as I know, they're simply a finishing touch.

The internal diameter is correct for the Hi-Vis mast poles, if they are missing the mast will not be held correctly.
